The three young star sopranos Julie Roset, Camille Allérat and Ana Vieira Leite meet Holland Baroque. Vocal stars with unprecedented flexibility and expressiveness. The trio has a curiosity for a variety of genres, from Baroque to Romantic to chanson. A true vocal spectacle full of French music.
À Chloris bridges centuries of French vocal beauty. Rameau and Fauré subtly merge, from Edith Piaff to the singer Barbara, in Holland Baroque’s recognisable signature. An ode to French singing and the latest generation of star sopranos. ‘S’il est vrai, Chloris, que tu m’aimes…’ French romance at its finest.
La Néréide are the vocal trio of sopranos Camille Allérat, Julie Roset, and Ana Vieira Leite. The three first met whilst studying singing at Geneva School of Music and together they have built a number of equal-voice programmes that allow them to combine the three soprano voices, taking turns to assume the different tessituras in solos, duets and trios. With a desire for artistic discovery and cross-disciplinarity, they collaborate with various musicians and ensembles with a number of different programmes.
After their first album dedicated to Luzzaschi’s madrigals, they are currently preparing a second album in which they will explore the most beautiful pieces of French Baroque music, including the very famous Miserere by Clérambault. This album will be released by Alpha in the fall of 2025.
These three young singers place collaboration and the development of ambitious projects with other ensembles at the center of their shared artistic direction. This is exemplified by the program “A Chloris” with Holland Baroque. Julie, Camille, and Ana thus have the opportunity to explore all facets of their voices and the themes they hold dear with some of the most talented musicians in the current musical world.
